Regional Cooperative Institute, Rangpur started its activities in 1983. It is one of the oldest cooperative training institutes in the country. Under a development project, a new building was constructed in 1999 in Shalban Mistripara area of ​​Rangpur city. Rangpur can be reached by bus from Gabtali bus terminal in Dhaka metropolis. Basic training for non-gazetted employees of the co-operative department, refreshers, audit manual training and various trainings for co-operative society members are organized here. There are 13 officers / employees in this organization. Trainees from 6 districts of Rangpur Division namely Rangpur, Kurigram, Lalmonirhat, Gaibandha, Nilphamari, Dinajpur, Thakurgaon and Panchagarh districts receive training here.
